Whitehall Farm

Whitehall Farm is situated in the lanes between Upton-upon-Severn and Malvern. Great Malvern station is about 5 miles away, and taxis can be obtained there. There are no bus services or shops nearer than 2 miles. The nearest pub is one mile away. A car is advisable! The units are small but full of character as befits a converted 17th century barn, the shower rooms especially are therefore not designed for wheelchair use.

Entrance

From a single track lane (unsuitable for HGVs), enter through gap of 315 onto gravel drive, (deep in places). Ample parking for cars, directly in front of the cottages; vans or small trucks would need to be parked a little further away. The gravel can be difficult for narrow wheeled chairs. There are no hand rails or telephones, however there is a strong mobile signal outside the cottages and WiFi.

Thresher's Cottage

• Step 15 with additional 2 over threshold.
• Double door with maximum opening of 85 (lock at 161 from ground) to kitchen dining area (459 x 352), which has free standing folding table and chairs.
• Flagstone floor, kitchen sink height 90, induction hob and double oven/grill, fridge with freezer compartment, eye-level microwave, toaster, TV with Freeview.
• Gap to shower room 75.
• Shower room (170 x 155) door 59, shower tray height 26, 79 x 79, gap between shower tray and toilet (height 42) 42. Sink height 76.
• Twin bedroom (459 x 277) door 59. Beds 90 x 185, height 50 and 54.
• Stairs to living area (460 x 370) and double bedroom area (460 x 347) 5 x height 23 width 25 to landing, then separate staircases 3 x triangular and 4 x as above. Hand rails one side only alternating.
• TV with Freeview, each side. Standard double bed 140 x 193 height 54, gap between bed and staircase 75.

Orchard Cottage

• Step 16 with additional 2 over threshold.
• Door (key height 155 from ground) maximum opening 65 to kitchen dining area (459 x 356) with terra-cotta tiled floor, which has free standing folding table and chairs.
• Sink height 75, oven grill hob, microwave.
• Door to sun terrace 59 width with step 11 deep with additional 2 over threshold.
• Shower room (131 x 161) door 62, shower tray 73 x 73 height 25. Sink behind door height 75. Toilet seat height 44.
• Stairs to living area/double bedroom (459 x 351) 1 x height 20 width 22 then 3 x triangular 1 x straight as above 3 x triangular and 4 straight. Hand rails one side only alternating.
• Gap between bed (standard double 137 x 190 height 57) and chest of drawers 70. TV with Freeview.

Both cottages have electric storage heating, with day time boost if required. Laundry facilities, additional freezer space, an outdoor sink for boot cleaning, fish gutting (and other grubby tasks!) together with facilities for walkers and cyclists are situated behind the cottages.
